If you are looking to take the next step in your surfing and become a coach this is the course for you!
The International Surfing Association(ISA) recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as the world governing authority for the sport of surfing, the ISA Surf Coaching & Instructing Educational Program is the international standard for accreditation of Coaches and Instructors in the surf school industry.
Surfing England (SE), recognised National Governing Body (NGB) for Surfing in England and the ISA have teamed up to bring you the most comprehensive and up to date Surf Coach Qualification available. Aiming to ensure safe and successful surf coaching, whilst encouraging progression for all levels of ability.
Zoee Jones of Saltburn Surf School is the only course presenter in North England. Working with all Surf Schools along the coast and independent coaches to make the qualification accessible to the North of England.
Level 2 is a significantly more advanced course, it is important to have a larger understanding personally in coaching surfing, and greater surfing skill level.

18-19th June – Location Saltburn By The Sea
17-18th September 2022
Level 2:
May 2022 – Location Saltburn By The Sea.
We will also be running the SLSGB Surf Coach Safety and Rescue award along side these course. They are 3 day courses and cost £250. Your place can be secured on these at the same time should you not already hold a relevant water safety award.
Course Duration is 3 Days, followed by 40 training hours signed off by level 2 coach and course Presenter. Evidence based scenario.
Price includes 1 year Surfing England Surf Coach Membership worth £45 and 1 year ISA membership.
